Something in the Orange
Zach Bryan
Okay, I finally did it. I decided to try singing in front of people.
This is the first clip of me doing this, and I'm really glad I took the first step.
Rude Mood
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Now that I have graduated High School I'm starting to post videos of me playing and practicing again.
I want to try and get as many opportunities to play before I leave for the Berklee College of Music
Pride and Joy

Here's a quick clip of warming up.
Voodoo Child
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Here I've been practicing for about 3 weeks and I'm saving up for that Wah pedal.
I'm playing on a Fender Squire that I gave a custom relic look to. Can you spot the moment I thought I broke a string? It's the most surprised "guitar face" you've probably seen.
This was my audition video to the Orange County School of the Performing Arts (OCSA) from Dec 2019. As a Sophomore, I had to scramble and learn this song in 2 weeks after finding out my school was closing down. Here I have been playing guitar for a total of 2 years. I got the call back to do the live audition, and while I was put on a waitlist (it's tough trying to get in as a Junior) this was the moment I chose music as my future college major and career path.
For OCSA auditions you pick songs that the school choose. The second song I needed to learn was Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns n' Roses. Back then I didn't even own an electric guitar... but needed to play like Slash?
I figured I had nothing to lose and sent in other songs, like this one, hoping to at least secure a live audition, and it worked.
I then ran out and borrowed an electric guitar to practice.
Guillotine - Jon Bellion
I was lucky to see Jon Bellion in concert. I admire him as a producer and love how he blends indie rock sounds with R&B and Hip-Hop.
Life by the Drop
Stevie Ray Vaughan
I became really focused on the challenge of learning this song on a 12 string. It's beautiful and I really enjoy playing it. This is a YouTube #shorts but I will post a longer version soon.

I love to go camping and ride dirt bikes in the desert, and I always bring my guitar.
Just practicing Lenny on my Fender Squire.
Desert Days
Cody Hill Jr.
This was the first ever instrumental song that I wrote and recorded. I did this back in 2020 with the plan to use it in family YouTube videos as instrumental backing music.
Due to Covid restrictions, Senior classes were picked remotely. First day of school I discovered Concert Band don't take guitarists. This challenge didn't stop me and I volunteered to play tuba. I've never played a wind or brass instrument, but Aretha Franklin played in high school, so I figure it can only help my breath control as I'm currently learning to sing.
Apologize - OneRepublic
While traveling with my family I saw this piano in St. Pancras, London. This railway station is famous for its upright pianos and so while I was nervous, and made mistakes, I'm so happy that I did play it. As you can see everyone, except, one person was busy with their own thing anyway. Big thank you to the person who stopped to listen!
Funeral - Lukas Graham
Found this recently when clearing out my photo files. I played at my 8th Grade talent show. I know the quality of the camera is horrible, but it's kind of fun to see where I started.
7 Years - Lukas Graham
Flashback to 2018. This feels like forever ago. This was my 7th Grade Spring Talent Show and as you can see I practically ran off the stage.
